About Juvenis
A Swedish idea. An American method. A flavor that's entirely its own.
It started
on Gotland.
Caleb Dolk, a Canadian who'd made Sweden his home, had a question: what would happen if you took bourbon's strict rules and added a distinctly Swedish ending?
The answer became Juvenis.
The process: a recipe developed from Swedish whiskey tradition was sent to Kentucky, where it was distilled to bourbon standards: at least 51% corn, aged in new charred American oak. After six months, the raw distillate was shipped back to Sweden, where it was blended with mineral-rich limestone water from Gotland, giving Juvenis its round, fresh, and unmistakably Swedish character.

Caleb Dolk
CEO & FounderCanadian-born, Sweden-based. Founded Juvenis with the conviction that bourbon doesn't have to come from Kentucky to be great. It just has to follow the rules there. Caleb has spent years bridging Swedish craft culture with American bourbon tradition.

Bourbon is defined by its production method, not its country of origin. Juvenis is distilled in Kentucky following all bourbon requirements: minimum 51% corn mash, aged in new charred American oak. The blending and finishing with Swedish limestone water happens after the bourbon standard is achieved.

Cask strength means the whiskey is bottled at the natural strength it comes out of the barrel, without dilution. Juvenis 2 is 61% ABV. You can enjoy it neat or add a few drops of water to open up the flavor profile.
